The Smart Microchip Scanner featuring Scanner Angel® Software
When the Halo smart microchip scanner is used with Scanner Angel® software, the microchip numbers of missing animals from a number of databases are downloaded into the Halo. If the Halo then scans one of those missing animals, the Halo will immediately alert the user that the animal has been reported missing.

Halo Microchip Scanner
The Halo scanner can identify a pet that is lost or stolen immediately it is scanned. Each time the Halo is recharged via a computer it downloads a list of microchip numbers from Scanner Angel of lost or stolen pets from participating databases through the Halo application.
When a pet is scanned its microchip number is compared against the tens of thousands of microchip numbers of lost or stolen pets that have been downloaded to its internal memory in a trice. If there’s a match the operator is alerted that the pet they just scanned is lost or stolen.
